Lyceum Begins Search for Fire and ICE Sponsors

Leading event production and management company Lyceum Events has announced that it is seeking sponsorship partners for this January's Fire And Ice party in London.

Fire And Ice started seven years ago when the then-fledgling online gaming industry featured a lack of parties or networking events following London's International Casino Expo (ICE). Lyceum's Michael Caselli and Jodie Thind arranged an ad hoc get together for some friends in the industry and this has since grown to become an event that is attended by over 1,000 professionals from around the globe.

The 2008 event will be held on Wednesday, January 23, during ICE and is expected to attract up to 1,500 people after this year's event saw a record number of attendees. The event is billed as a way for guests of sponsors, members of the media, VIPs and I-gaming executives to let their hair down and mingle after ICE.

In addition to the annual Fire and Ice party, Lyceum Media hosts informal bi-monthly networking socials in London and Vancouver throughout the year in conjunction with iGaming Business magazine.

"Fire And Ice gives Lyceum Media the perfect opportunity to highlight the capability of our events division," Said Jodie Thind, a Partner at Lyceum.

"Our motto is: if you like the way we party, then we'll do one for you."

Lyceum also announced that it has been in talks with a yet to be disclosed venue in central London with the ability to host over 1,000 guests, giving i-gaming executives the opportunity to party the night away in one large open space.

"We are in the middle of securing the venue and getting very excited over the prospect of holding such a massive party," said Esther Whitehead, Events Manager for Lyceum. "We've already had positive feedback from potential sponsors, giving us the opportunity to launch our search for the perfect partners now."
