Online Casino’s Latest Bizarre Purchase
Online casino GoldenPalace.com has announced that it paid $1,000 for a piece of dental floss once used by Paris Hilton, smudged with pink lipstick and found in a rubbish bin outside the actress’ Hollywood home.
The floss was sold by Hollywood Star Trash, who discovered it while searching through the star’s trashcans, alongside other items. Hollywood Star Trash allows people to bid on items found in bins outside the homes of celebrities and hit the headlines recently with a youtube.com video showing how they had procured Hilton's trash.
GoldenPalace.com can add the floss to its other bizarre purchases including William Shatner's kidney stone and a used pregnancy test kit from Britney Spears.
With the money it has raised from the sale of Hilton's trash, Hollywood Star Trash plans to expand its inventory and produce a full-length documentary. The company has allegedly also obtained trash from actor John Travolta and plan to sell it in the near future. It is rumoured that this collection includes twelve empty packets of very expensive beef and a fork in a collectible box.
'We're all fans of Travolta and, who knows, if there is some beef in the packets, we could eat it and then use Paris Hilton's thousand dollar floss,' said Richard Rowe, Chief Executive Officer for GoldenPalace.com.
