WPT Gets A Helping Hand In Mobile Game Launch
Hands-On Mobile, a high-profile developer of mobile games and applications, has announced the launch of multiplayer World Poker Tour Texas Hold 'Em 2 in partnership with multi-media company, 3UK.
The game's UK launch signifies the first time a free play, multiplayer WPT game will be accessible to European poker buffs.
The second game in the hugely popular WPT Texas Hold?Em series, which boasts 200,000 multiplayer hands each week in the US, gives poker players the opportunity play in real-time against up to five other people from around the world.
"Poker is a real community game and now, with World Poker Tour Texas Hold 'Em 2, that community will be able to play and interact with each other no matter where they are in the world," said Eric Hobson, President and General Manager EMEA, Hands-On Mobile.
In the UK, World Poker Tour Texas Hold 'Em 2 multiplayer will shortly be available on 3UK for a monthly subscription fee of $1.99.
