Sunriver, Heatseeker shine at Hollywood Park
Sunriver sprinted away on the turn for home and won the $250,000
Hollywood Turf Cup by 2 3/4 lengths Saturday at Hollywood Park. In the
$111,800 Native Diver Handicap, 30-1 shot Heatseeker gave trainer Jerry
Hollendorfer his 4,994th career victory. Jockey Michael Baze rode his
fourth winner on the card. In the Turf Cup, Sunriver and Garrett Gomez
covered 1 1/2 miles on the turf in 2:27.07 and paid $6, $3.20 and $2.40.
Champs Elysees returned $3.20 and $2.
