WPT Mobile Game Coming To UK
Mobile telephone games developer Hands-On Mobile has announced that it has chosen multimedia company 3UK as its partner in the British launch of World Poker Tour''s (WPT) multiplayer mobile game WPT Texas Hold ''Em 2.
This is the second game in the WPT Texas Hold ?Em series, which claims 200,000 multiplayer hands each week in the US, and marks the first time that a free-to-play, multiplayer WPT game will be accessible to European poker buffs.
''Poker is a real community game and now with World Poker Tour Texas Hold ?Em 2 that community will be able to play and interact with each other no matter where they are in the world,? said Eric Hobson, President and General Manager for Hands-On Mobile.
WPT Texas Hold ?Em 2 gives poker players the opportunity to play in real-time against up to five other people from around the world and will be available on the 3UK network for a subscription of just under two pounds a month.
